Billing was mostly straightforward in the end
I’ve gone through the billing explanation a few times now, so I’m a bit tired of recounting it. What I found helpful is that the invoices clearly show the charges, though some parts took a minute to fully grasp, like the automatic update fees mentioned briefly during sign-up. The payment process was mostly smooth after the initial setup, with no surprise charges sneaking in. One little thing is that the invoicing terms weren’t totally upfront at the start, which led me to ask support more than I wanted. Their explanations by phone were decent, but I felt this could be streamlined for quicker clarity. Still, once I got it sorted, the workflow of managing payments and keeping track of invoices became part of my regular routine. I’d say the clarity of the billing and invoicing information improved after a couple of weeks using the software. Initial onboarding made me realize I had to dedicate some time to fully understand how payment cycles align with automatic updates and the database feature’s optional costs. So overall, it does come together fairly well but expect to spend some effort on the detailed billing components initially until it all clicks. This is not a big issue but just something to be aware of if you want everything upfront with zero back-and-forth.
