Wording and labels caused more confusion than clarity
The onboarding and training process was frustrating primarily because the wording within the portal did not feel clear or intuitive. Labels for software components like the database and the calling features were often vague, leaving me uncertain which step to follow next. It felt like I had to read and reread explanations to grasp what each section was supposed to accomplish, which consumed a lot of time. Terms were occasionally used inconsistently across different screens, making it harder to keep track. For example, some menu items hinted at one function but did something else entirely, requiring guesswork. Even basic setup instructions could have been more straightforward so new users could proceed with less difficulty. This led me to spend far longer than expected trying to get comfortable with the workflow. Overall, the effort needed to move beyond simple use was significant due to unclear terminology and insufficiently user-friendly labels. I struggled during nearly every step in training because the wording was just not aligned with what a first-timer would expect, making the onboarding experience unnecessarily complicated.
