Training clarity took me by surprise
Reflecting back on my experience with the onboarding and training provided, I found that the level of clarity was not quite what I had initially expected. The assumption seemed to be that users would already be familiar with certain workflow concepts, and that caught me off guard. What I thought would be straightforward explanations were occasionally vague or glossed over important details, leaving me to figure some critical functions out on my own. It wasn’t a total failure since some parts, like the introductory videos and the setup checklist, were reasonably clear and helpful. Yet, several elements were surprisingly ambiguous, especially around advanced calling features and database integration. This made the learning curve steeper than anticipated. In hindsight, I would have valued a more detailed guide or perhaps even follow-up sessions to clarify these stumbling blocks. The experience felt a bit rushed, as if the focus was to get users signed up rather than fully comfortable with the tools. Overall, the training could have done better to prepare users without needing them to navigate confusion by themselves at later stages.
