the surprise was how off it was for the hours i actually work
I really expected the software and training to fit around the kind of hours I keep but it turned out otherwise. Once I had signed up and got into the onboarding, I found several tools, especially the dialer scheduling and database sync, seemed structured for a fuller daytime routine. That was surprising because my actual working hours are quite fragmented and shorter. The initial sign-up and invoicing were straightforward enough but when it came to adapting workflows, it felt like the setups assumed a more continuous availability. Telephonic support was available but couldn’t give a clear workaround beyond standard replies. Training sessions also seemed designed around a fixed timetable which didn’t sync well with my sporadic schedule. So the biggest shock was how little the setup aligned with the flexible hours I operate, not what I expected before starting out.
