The pacing of training was more complex than expected
Reflecting on the training and onboarding experience some time after I began using the WFHI software, I recall that certain aspects were clearer than anticipated, while others surprised me. Initially, I was pleased with the structured training modules that explained the workflow features in a logical sequence. The videos and written guides were detailed and accessible, helping me grasp key concepts without excessive difficulty. However, I did not expect the onboarding to require so many self-guided steps after those first formal sessions. Some of the more advanced settings emerged only when I started working independently, and the instructions for these were less explicit. This surprised me because I thought the initial onboarding would cover the entire user setup comprehensively. As a result, I had to revisit training content several times and consult additional materials to gain full understanding. On the positive side, the flexibility to learn at my own pace ended up helpful as I could focus on areas relevant to my specific workflow. Though the overall clarity was solid, this element of surprise suggests that perhaps the training could include a clearer roadmap of what is covered on day one and what comes later. In the end, the experience left me well-prepared, though the initial assumptions I had did not completely match reality.
