the moment the billing setup didn’t click was right after signing up
Starting with WFHI, I was excited about getting billing and payments sorted because I wanted to track my hours properly. However, the moment the billing setup didn’t click was right after signing up — the invoicing seemed immediate and ongoing fees weren’t clearly distinct from one-off charges. I had hoped the onboarding or training would explain how recurring payments worked, but the information felt scattered and not clear enough to help me feel confident. The database feature and calling tools were fine once I got access, and automatic updates happened smoothly, but billing remained confusing. Telephonic support was polite but the help on billing was limited and felt generic, not well tailored to individual doubts. What frustrated me most was not being sure if the payments reflected the hours worked carefully because I had to guess which items on the invoice were one-off setup fees versus ongoing charges. That made it hard to budget or plan working time with confidence. Overall, I don’t think the billing and payment experience fitted well with the software and training package in the way I’d hoped. The invoice layout wasn’t as clear as it could be and the onboarding didn’t prepare me for the payment details, which was disappointing given how smoothly other features ran.
