That moment when everything didn’t quite add up
I dived into the pre-purchase information feeling pretty optimistic, but there were definitely some moments where I had to figure a lot out on my own. The sales info was clear about what the software does, but I found some aspects of the database and calling tools a bit vague until I actually started using them. The onboarding and training descriptions made it sound like I’d be well supported throughout, yet I found some gaps when I needed instant answers or clarity on certain invoicing or payment procedures. It wasn’t all bad though—I appreciated that the automatic updates ran smoothly without me having to intervene much. Still, there was this one moment where trying to understand the billing process clicked, but it took longer than expected. I’m left thinking that the initial sales pitch could maybe be a bit more detailed in explaining what you really get at each stage, especially for someone doing all the setup solo.
