Surprised by how training neglected problems during onboarding
I started the training with the expectation that if any problem came up during onboarding, the system would handle it smoothly. However, I was surprised to find that when things went wrong, the training did not adapt to address those issues effectively. For example, when I encountered technical glitches with the dialer software, the support was not immediately helpful and the training materials offered no specific guidance. There seemed to be no fallback instructions or troubleshooting steps provided upfront, which left me stuck for longer than expected. While some aspects of the onboarding were clearly explained, the parts about handling errors or unexpected issues were missing. This lack of preparedness slowed down my progress considerably. I also found that the automatic updates occasionally caused changes that affected the workflow, and there was no prior notice or explanation. Overall, the training and onboarding process failed to accommodate difficulties realistically, which was surprising given the nature of software and remote working setups that often have such challenges.
