Steps in Billing Seemed Out of Order
To be fair, I found that the billing and payment steps were at least clear in what they required, which was a positive. The invoices came through email and were detailed, so I knew what I was expected to pay for. However, the sequencing of these steps was a bit confusing. For example, the sign-up process prompted choosing a payment plan too early, before I had a chance to fully explore the trial or see if the software met my needs practically. Then, the payment submission happened before I had confirmation that my account and software access were fully set, which made me uncertain at times about whether my payment had triggered active service. At times, the invoicing system reminded me about renewal well in advance, which was helpful for budgeting. But there was no explicit option to manage or pause the subscription directly from my account dashboard, which I felt was missing. You have to contact support to do that, and that is not very efficient. Overall, while the process did go through fine and payments registered properly, I believe organizing the steps so that trial periods, plan selection, and payment confirmation align more logically would improve the experience.
