Some waiting, some progress: mixed sales experience
I found the pre-purchase interactions to be a mix of helpful and frustrating. On the plus side, the sales team was able to provide detailed information about the software features when I asked, which helped me decide. On the downside, I had to repeat my requirements multiple times to different representatives, and sometimes there was a delay in getting responses. The waiting times between my initial queries and the follow-ups were longer than I expected. Although the sign-up process was relatively smooth once I decided to go ahead, the initial communication felt quite drawn out. So overall, while some parts worked well and aided my decision, the repetition and wait diminished the quality of the experience. I think it’s useful to know what you want in advance to reduce delays, but even then, the back-and-forth was noticeable. If they improve their coordination, it could make the pre-purchase phase less tedious.
