Some clarity in billing but mostly confusing labels

When I first encountered the billing section after signing up, I appreciated that the invoice itself was straightforward in terms of the amount and payment dates. That part was quite clear and helped me keep track of schedules. However, the labels used throughout the payment portal caused some confusion for me. Terms like 'subscription period' and 'membership cycle' were used interchangeably, which led me to double-check whether I was paying monthly or quarterly. The sign-up process was mostly smooth, but when I tried to understand the cancellation and refund policy, the wording was more ambiguous and not clearly laid out in the same place. Automatic updates triggered a notification about billing changes which I was unsure about until support confirmed it. The database feature and the dialer worked fine without issues, so that aspect was one positive. But the overall clarity of the terminology around payments could be improved to avoid making customers feel hesitant when viewing invoices or setting up recurring payments. Helpful telephonic support did clarify some points while onboarding but some labels still seemed inconsistent to me. That mixed experience makes me feel the billing side needs a bit more polish alongside the actual software service.
