Setup was mostly one-time, ongoing parts were less than I thought
When I first started with the billing and payment setup, I thought most of it would be ongoing work every month, but it turned out a lot was one-off. The initial sign-up and invoice configuration took some time to get right, as I was figuring out how the automatic updates would sync with my bank details and payment cycles. Once that was done, the routine monthly payments and invoice generation ran pretty smoothly without much intervention. The software updated automatically, so I didn’t have to worry about keeping it current. However, I didn’t expect to spend that much time training myself on the dashboard, especially the sections related to invoicing and payments. It felt like a good chunk of the effort was front-loaded, and I kept circling back to the setup documentation more than I expected. Still, the payment process overall matched my expectations, so I feel the initial time investment was worth it. I guess I was just mentally prepared for more ongoing hassle than I actually faced, which was a relief.
