setup surprise: mostly one-off, some ongoing steps
The training process for the software was straightforward, focusing primarily on the initial setup of the calling tools and database integration. I expected the onboarding to be a bit more hands-on in ongoing usage but the majority of the setup turned out to be one-off tasks, like configuring preferences and account details. After these steps, much of the work shifted to using the software routinely with little additional formal training needed. However, some ongoing learning was necessary when automatic updates introduced new features or slight changes to the interface, requiring occasional revisiting of training materials. The dialing system worked well after initial setup, and support was available when I needed help adjusting to updates. The payment and invoicing steps were clearly laid out during onboarding, which helped me complete them without much trouble. Overall, the balance between one-time setup and ongoing adaptation was a bit more skewed towards initial setup than I had thought.
