Setup felt split between quick start and ongoing tweaks, honestly

When I began the training, I thought setup would be mostly a one-off task, but it quickly became clear there was a lot more tweaking involved over time. The onboarding process was very detailed at the start, with several sessions devoted to navigating the software, setting up the dialer, and managing the database. However, many of these basic configurations did not last — ongoing adjustments had to be made because new workflows or updates would be introduced regularly. It’s as if I was expected to keep learning and adjusting beyond the initial training, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it isn’t what I anticipated. The training did prepare me to handle some aspects independently, yet I still find myself needing fresh guidance for some updates or features after the fact. Explaining this to a friend, I’d say the software training is split between an initial push to get you started and a continual engagement to keep up with changes. That means users need to stay proactive beyond just the setup. I feel it could be framed more clearly from the outset about this ongoing commitment. So, the setup process is definitely not just a set-and-forget experience as someone might hope.
