One-off setup mostly fine but pre-purchase info was vague

The sales and pre-purchase process was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Initially, I appreciated the clarity on the features of the software—what it could do seemed well laid out and fairly detailed. However, where it faltered was in explaining which parts required one-off setup fees versus ongoing costs. This wasn't clearly delineated beforehand, so after signing up, I found some unexpected charges related to database access and calling tools. The invoicing process was systematic and easy to follow, once I understood what was recurring and what was not. I do feel this lack of upfront detail could have been avoided by better transparency during the sales pitch. Despite that, the software itself delivers as advertised, just the cost structure was a bit more complicated than I initially thought. The support team was decent about answering my queries but improving initial guidance would help a lot.
