not for those with erratic hours
So, I think this billing system works okay if you have pretty fixed hours and regular usage, but for me it didn’t fit well. I often work varying shifts which makes it hard to match up with fixed payment slots and the invoicing system didn’t quite reflect what I actually used. It felt like the hours I was billed for and the hours I worked didn’t line up properly. The payment reminders came at odd times too, sometimes when I was just starting or wrapping up work which felt inconvenient. I’ll give credit where it’s due though – the actual process of making a payment once the invoice was issued was simple and clear to navigate. Sadly, the overall setup felt a bit rigid for my workflow. For someone with a steady schedule, it might suit better but if you’re like me and your hours keep changing, this might not be the best fit. Also, I found it hard to find detailed breakdowns of usage against billing which would have helped in understanding the charges properly. It’s an okay system but just not flexible enough for all work types.
