Labels and wording are confusing and unclear

I found the software’s interface to be difficult to navigate largely due to the wording and labels used on various buttons and menu options. The terms did not consistently match typical industry or user expectations, which made it hard for me to figure out what would happen after clicking certain links. It sometimes felt like the labels were ambiguous or misrepresenting the features they were supposed to control. This caused delays in me accessing critical areas of the software and forced me to rely heavily on trial and error. The onboarding did include some explanations but these did not cover all the confusing terminology thoroughly. Overall, the wording was not user-friendly in my opinion and reduced the smoothness of the user experience. I do not believe the labels adequately guided me to complete the tasks I was aiming for when I signed up with the software. A clearer naming approach would be advisable.
