Labels and terms could be clearer than I expected

Looking back over my experience with the software’s user interface and access, I realize there was a bit of a mismatch between what I thought the labels and descriptions would be and what they actually were. At first, I expected all the buttons and menu items to use straightforward, familiar English terms that match the usual software jargon I’m used to. Instead, some of the wording felt a little ambiguous or mixed up with jargon that I had to guess the meaning of before using the feature. For example, the database section had options labeled in a way that seemed overlapping or unclear in their exact function. On the positive side, once I got used to the terminology, I did find the search and update features in the software fairly straightforward. The sign-up and invoice processes were labeled clearly and didn’t cause issues. But overall, the initial learning curve was increased by these odd label choices. I think the experience would have been smoother if the naming had been more aligned with common terms that users expect from remote work software.
