Labeling confusion slowed down my onboarding
One thing that really stood out in a negative way during the training and onboarding was the wording and labels used across the software interface. Many terms were unclear or ambiguous, which made it harder to understand exactly what each section was for without referring back to the training materials multiple times. For example, the dialer setup interface had labels that seemed similar but referred to different options, leaving me confused about what action I was taking. Although the software itself has strong features like automatic updates and database management, the confusing wording created avoidable hesitation. Telephonic support did provide explanations, but I felt this could have been reduced if the initial labels and instructions were more intuitively designed. The sign-up and invoicing processes were straightforward, so the issue was mostly with the interface language during onboarding. Overall, the software could do much better in making sure terminology is user-friendly to help new users get comfortable quickly and not feel held back by unclear instructions.
