I was surprised how much communication I had to figure out on my own
Initially, I expected a lot of hand-holding with support during setup and while learning to use the software’s features. I thought the telephonic support would provide complete step-by-step guidance and clearer directions on the dialer and the database. What surprised me was that much of the troubleshooting and figuring out had to be done independently. While the support team was generally polite and willing to help, they often directed me to online resources rather than providing direct fixes over the phone. The onboarding and training were solid but left gaps I hadn’t anticipated, meaning I had to invest extra time experimenting and testing features solo. Invoicing and payment processes went smoothly with minimal need for assistance, which was a relief compared to other areas. Automatic updates occurred without issue, too. Comparing this experience to what I initially expected, the independence required was greater than anticipated, but I can see how that might suit users who are comfortable exploring on their own. Overall, the communication aspect was the most surprising part of my experience.
