Good enough if you’re used to working things out yourself
Compared to the billing and payments systems I’ve used before, this one had some pluses and minuses. On the plus side, once I figured out how the payment portal worked, it handled recurring invoices without trouble, and the automatic updates meant no manual changes to billing settings — which was nice. But the catch was that the onboarding didn’t include much in the way of clear guidance on the billing features, so I spent quite a bit of time poking around to understand how charges were calculated and when payments were processed. For someone like me who’s used to navigating new software independently, this wasn’t too much trouble. However, if you want a more hands-off experience where payment and invoice setups are laid out plainly and explained in advance, this might feel a bit frustrating. I had to cross-check the invoices with my bank statements a couple of times just to reassure myself things were tracking correctly. That said, after the initial puzzling, the system behaved as expected, and I didn’t encounter any surprises in the actual payments. Overall, this billing setup would probably suit self-reliant users more than those expecting detailed onboarding on financial aspects.
