Expected labels to be simpler than they were
At first, I thought the billing system would be a breeze, but it turned out to be a little more complex than what I’d anticipated. The labels and wording across the invoicing section were clear in some areas, but in others, they seemed unnecessarily technical or vague. I kept finding myself circling back to the payment terms trying to figure out what exactly was meant by certain entries. It wasn’t confusing enough to block me completely, but made me wonder why it wasn’t just presented more plainly. On the plus side, once I spent some time exploring and calling up support for clarifications, it all started to make sense. I kind of expected there to be a more straightforward language from the start, considering this is a platform aimed at independent workers. With that said, the payment process itself was stable and I never had an issue completing transactions. So, while the wording gave me a headache now and then, in the end the actual functionality was sound and dependable.
