Ended up just accepting how it turned out
I walked into the pre-purchase process thinking the steps would be laid out clearly and logically, but that wasn’t exactly how things played out. There seemed to be an order to signing up, choosing features, and understanding pricing, but it was sometimes unclear which step should come first. For example, I felt I had to look up details on the calling tools before I was actually given full access to the software, which was a bit backward from what I expected. I’m not sure if the onboarding flow was designed with user experience in mind or if it just evolved over time without much cohesion. Payments and invoices eventually got sorted, but they arrived later in the process than I wanted and lacked clear contextual explanation. Frankly, while the final outcome was that I was able to use the software, the steps themselves felt more disjointed than well-planned, which left me feeling a bit frustrated and unsure about what I was agreeing to at times.
