Billing system missed syncing with actual work hours

My main issue with the billing and payment process is that it doesn’t really match the hours I actually work. I understand the need for a standard payment cycle, but the software doesn’t allow much flexibility to adjust billing based on fluctuating hours in remote work, which is what I found restrictive. The invoicing happens on a fixed schedule which sometimes leads to payments for hours not fully utilized. On the positive side, the invoicing itself is clear and easy to comprehend. The automatic updates usually work well and haven’t disrupted the billing, so that’s something I appreciate. However, what’s missing is a more dynamic platform that reflects real-time hours logged rather than a fixed guess. I also found it inconvenient that there was no easy way to pause or modify payment cycles when my working time reduced unexpectedly. The telephonic support clarified some doubts but couldn’t resolve the limitation itself. Overall, while the invoicing and payment are straightforward, the lack of adaptability related to actual working hours is a drawback for me.
