Balancing the working hours fit with sales info: the pros and cons
One good thing about the sales and pre-purchase information was that it gave a reasonable sense of what hours the software was designed to support. They clearly mention remote workflows and highlight tools for calling and database management, which align well with flexible hours. However, I found that the training sessions and the timing for live support didn’t always match the hours I was active. Sometimes I had to wait for assistance because their priority help was limited to certain hours. On the other hand, the telephonic support was fairly responsive once reached, and the software updates felt timely and unobtrusive so they didn’t interfere with active hours. The invoicing and payment process was also automated in a way that fit with usual financial cycles. Overall, the sales content made the software sound like it would fit well with my working hours, but the real-world application was a bit less perfect. Still, the positives, like good dialer features and a database that supports flexible work, outweighed the drawbacks for me in the end.
